• If you don’t mind working hard physically, you could build trails. You would be spending your days outside surrounded by the forest and its wildlife, able to step back at the end of the day and see what you had accomplished. You might find puma tracks on your trail!
  • If your Spanish is good, you could help in the office or take care of the ticket desk at the Bajo del Tigre trails telling the story of the BEN/Children’s Eternal Rain Forest to visitors who come to the trails.
  • If you are an artist, you could work on exhibits for the nature center or design and paint a mural for the office.
  • If you love plants and don’t mind getting dirty, you could help with tree planting.
  • If you know a lot about tropical biology, you could be a naturalist guide in the BEN.

If you speak Spanish and can stay a month or longer, you can be more useful. MCL can help you find housing.
