2. Replacing Poco Sol Biological Field Station - $182,000 (estimate)
3. Additional Protection for BEN/Children’s Eternal Rain Forest means more Forest Guards to clean, mark and patrol the boundaries as well as funds for lawyers and legal fees to defend the land titles - $20,000 annually
4. Living Endowment is a plan to plant native tree species on 100 hectares (250 acres) of BEN/Children’s Eternal Rain Forest needing reforestation. The project could receive Costa Rican government support and still produce funds through selective, sustainable commercial tree harvesting in 25-30 years - $225,000
5. Educational Endowment to support an educator in the La Tigra area to interact with schools in the community and bring the students to the BEN/Children’s Eternal Rain Forest for environmental education. - $200,000
6. Creating biological corridors on the Pacific slope through land purchase - $500,000
